Well I have been slacking on my blog the past couple of months. Good thing I got some good material to write about and share.
Today as I was working, I got a call from my mother who I have spoken to about 5 times in the last 2 years. Its a complicated ordeal so I'm not gonna discuss the issue right now. Anyways, I found out from both of my sisters last week that my mom found a lump in her breast. After hearing this news I became worried and mad. Worried that I would loose my momma and mad that I haven't been the son that loves her no matter what has transpired the past 2 years. Anyways, I got a call today (12-23-2010) and it was actually from my mom. She informed me that she had met with docs and that her biopsy came back as a stage 2 malignant tumor in her breast, cancer for those who don't have a clue what a malignant tumor is. I became growinly concerned about the situation. I had chills running thru my body, because in one hand I haven't shown the love that she is due and that I have allowed the enemy to control the entire situation since 2008. I love my momma and don't know what I would do if I honestly lost her. I have goofed around to much the past couple of years, saying things like " I don't have a mom" and " My mom has already died". Very serious and stupid things to say nonetheless. I don't like what my momma did, but she is still my momma and I gotta show her the love that she is due.

Rammer Jammer
Well I have been giving a lot of thought to the reason Auburn fans have such a bitterness to Alabama fans and everything to do with The University of Alabama Football Program, and that reason is this, they will never achieve what Alabama has done and is continuing to do. Auburn fans are like fleas on a dogs ass. They are irritating and annoying. They always throw out that Alabama fans live in the past...well all you Auburn idiots, we have a past. At least we dont hold up 6 fingers saying "6 in a row", or " War Cam Eagle", instead we at The University of Alabama go out and win National Championships, not state championships. I will give Auburn some credit though, watching that eagle fly down onto the field is pretty spectacular, especially for a night game, but that still doesnt take away how ridiculous Auburn fans are. Quit counting how many Championships Alabama has, or holding up signs at gameday when your team is playing Clemson disgracing Saban and Ingram, instead keep telling yourselves that your team won the Golf Digest National Championship in 2004. Congratulations on such an achievement. Your still 12 behind. Roll Tide

" Dealing with Frustration? "

Do you ever fill like pulling every strand of hair out of your head? Well if this is you, then your right there with me and 99.9% of all men and women on planet Earth, and George W. Bush. It could be an issue at work, or a problem your having with a friend or family member that is frustrating the mess out of ya which is making life seem very difficult. It feels like the weight of the world is on your back, and you dont know how to carry it without being knocked down. Sometimes you feel like giving up because no matter what you do, it all seems to backfire right in your face. Frustration brings out the worst in people, how do I know this, well I'll tell ya. Everytime I have let a situation frustrate me, I start hurting those around me with my attitude and actions. One of the best things to do when one becomes frustrated, is to vent a little bit about your circumstances with a close friend. Or you may want to take your frustrations to the source and kick some tail. I dont recommend beating someone down, unless that is your last resort. Just dont let your frustration get the best of you.

" Late Night Snack If You Please "

When u think of an American icon in the food industry, what do you think of? A lot of people may say McDonalds, or Red Lobster...but not I. I think of Waffle House. This place has a reputation like none other, and has withstood the test of time from other coorporations trying to move in next door offering what they believe are better selections at a reasonable price. It's open 24 hours a day, has a juke box with your favorite tunes to play, and the best waffles around town. It's the perfect place for a late night rendevous with your friends. You can choose to have a breakfast dish whenever you want, or you can flip the menu over and choose to have a delectiable steak. I however, have never had the steak. You can carry on some deep and interesting conversations with the waitresses, and even get your food in a timely manner. So the next time your looking for a place to eat with your friends or family, do like my family has done for decades, and choose Waffle House. It's " Good Food Fast ".
The Male Self Check-Up

A question that generally gets asked to men in there 40s and 50s is "Have you had a prostate or testicular check-up recently" ? Well I was talking with a buddy of mine the other day who started having pains in his testicular region, so he went and had a Urologist Specialist check out his pre"dic"ament. It turned out that it was just some pain due to a condition called Epididymitis. Saying that, I thank it's a wise decision for men starting in their 20s, to start examining themselves on a regular basis. I did a little research on problems men face with Genital/Testicular discomforts.

A Blog From Perry Noble
Four Reasons People Have Moral Failures March 10, 2009
Several months ago I did a post entitled, “Pastors, keep your penis in your pants” that generated a lot of interest. One of the main follow up questions I received as a result of that post was, “Why do pastors (people) have moral failures.” I believe there are four main reasons…
#1 – No Personal Boundaries
Call me legalistic…but I am a FREAK about particular personal boundaries…such as…
I do not ride in a car alone with a woman other than my wife!
I will not be on an elevator alone with another woman. (I have literally gotten off on a floor that was not my destination in order to keep this value.)
I will not counsel a woman alone.
I will not share a meal in a restaurant with a woman with it being just the two of us…under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! EVER! (And PLEASE don’t hand me that crap about how it is “business!”)
Those are just a few of the examples…but the bottom line is this men…YOU CAN’T HAVE SEX WITH A WOMAN IF YOU ARE NEVER ALONE WITH HER (unless you are an absolute freak…which is another issue altogether!)
Too many men have sold their ministry down the river just to have an orgasm…it’s not worth it men–we’ve GOT to make tough decisions now and be willing to experience some “inconveniences” for the sake of the Gospel!BTW…my wife absolutely LOVES the fact that she is the only woman I am ever alone with!
#2 – They Think That Temptation Will Never Overcome Them!
One of the Bible verses that has ALWAYS stuck out to me on the issue of temptation is I Corinthians 10:12! Here Paul warns us to always be careful…because the minute that we think we have a particular sin mastered…we are in danger of that very sin actually becoming our master.
#3 – They Stop Pursuing Jesus.
One of the things I know is true about everyone of us is that we cannot pursue Jesus and sin at the same time…and if a pastor is trying to get in the pants of a woman who is not his wife…then he cannot claim that his eyes are on Jesus!
This is why I believe time in the Word of God is essential for anyone who wants to keep a pure heart! Men…we are CALLED to pursue Jesus…and doing so will always lead us away from sin, not towards it!
#4 – Stress
When a man pastor experiences a time of intense stress and anxiety he is way more vulnerable to be lured into sin.
Pastors…we’ve GOT to take the fourth commandment seriously (that would be the one about rest!) We’ve got to take care of ourselves emotionally, spiritually and physically…neglecting these things allows us to become an easy target of the enemy!
I believe that many times pastors and ministry leaders will allow the stress and anxiety of ministry to catch up with them so much that they see a “moral failure” as an escape of the life they feel enslaved to.
One of the things ALL of us need to keep in mind is that the church is HIS bride…not ours. There is no need to stress if we believe He is completely in control!
My prayer is that there would NEVER be another pastor to choose to fail morally! (I hate it when people say a pastor “fell into sin!” THAT HAS NEVER FREAKIN’ HAPPENED–EVER!!! Moral failure is NOT a sin that happens to us…we make it happen!
Men, I want us to make it…to keep our eyes on Jesus! PLEASE, if anyone is struggling in this area and feel like you are about to sin…GET HELP! PLEASE…talk to someone! (Many pastors will not do this because they spend WAY too much time trying to BE the Messiah rather than leading people to HIM!)

Girls Are Too Be Respected

I came across this photo the other day while I was exploring the world wide web, and it kinda touched me. It shows how pure and innocent little kids are when they are in their pre-mature relationships. What if every relationship we were in was this pure and innocent? What if you or I just found that #1 and didn't go around trying to make it work with multiple girls. How awesome would it be to love just one girl. Respecting her purity, sharing your heart with only her, giving her the attention that she's due, and loving only her, no matter what unexpected issues or problems come up. It's hard in our generation to only settle for only 1. We feel as though one isnt enough b/c there may be someone and then another someone that makes us happy. Why do we break the heart's of these girls? Because boys are idiots, we are stupid. We don't know what we have sometimes until it's gone. That's the reason I'm writing this little blog. It's more for myself, because I know I haven't always respected or honored girls the way they should be honored and respected. I truly believe that our intentions must be pure and holy before getting into a relationship. We need to stop breaking these "little" girls hearts. We must set boundaries and guidelines to see to it that the relationship is moving down a healthy path. No more settling on the fact that "things will happen". See to it that there is never the opportunity for things to happen. Self-control is hard, but it's worth it. Allow God to be in every area of the relationship. Don't allow the world to direct the path of the relationship, but let it be directed by the hand of God.
There is a song by Keith Urban called "Stupid Boy" that sums up just how "stupid " us boys are. Below is a link to the song, so listen to it and enjoy.
